At the May 29 meeting of the Vermillion Rotary, Club president, Rand Wergin, offered a fascinating analysis of the retail sales numbers in the state of South Dakota.  In addition to looking at the retail sales figures for the entire state, Wergin discussed the retail sales by type of sales (building materials, restaurants, etc.).  The discussion talks about how different communities have greater sales in some sectors.  Additionally, Wergin compares retail sales data for different communities based on their population to determine which communities are doing well compared to others.
