At one point not that long ago, Sioux Falls, SD and Sioux City, IA had the same population and the cities had the same industries when founded. However, there are distinct differences today.  In this presentation, Dr. Ralph Brown, Emeritus Professor of Economics from the University of South Dakota, outlines the economic realities of the two cities and how they have taken different paths from a pretty similar origin.  Thank you for the fascinating presentation, Dr. Brown.  The Vermillion Rotary Club's YouTube channel has Brown's presentation that can be accessed by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.
