Did you know that it took 60 years for South Dakota to return to the population that it had before the start of the Great Depression?  Did you know that in 1933, the lowest point of the Great Depression, that South Dakota ranked last in the nation in annual income?  The US unemployment rate before the depression was 3.2%, but by 1933 it was 25%. These interesting facts and so much more were part of Dr. Ralph Brown's presentation on the Great Depression in South Dakota.  Thank you for your presentation, Dr. Brown.
