SD Magazine's 30-Year History and the Doolittle Raid Discussed at Nov. 10 Meeting

Bernie Hunhoff (Founder and Editor-at-large), Heidi Marsh (Co-Publisher) and Katie Hunhoff (Co-Publisher) (L-R) of South Dakota Magazine answer questions after a two-part presentation to the Vermillion Rotary Club on Tuesday, November 10.  First Heidi and Katie talked about the history of SD Magazine and its many contributions to the State.  Then, in honor of Veteran's Day, Bernie Hunhoff spoke of the Doolittle Raid, the US's response to the bombing of Pearl Harbor where 16 planes made a direct attack on Japan and then landed in (or near) the China mainland.  Featured in the presentation was one of the 16 pilots, a SD native.
