One of the newest Rotary Global Grant Scholars, Katia Duszenko, introduced herself and thanked the Vermillion Rotary club for sponsoring her application for the scholarship.  Katie graduated from the University of South Dakota with a majors in Media & Journalism, International Studies and French.  She will be pursing a Master's degree in international relations with the goal of working after graduation on programs that improve literacy rates in developing nations.  She will be studying at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
